FAQ

  • Do I need to be home during service?

Not at all! One of the best parts of our service is that you don’t need to be home during your visit. As long as we can access your yard, we can complete the service. We’ll always send you a text when we’re on our way so you’re kept informed.

  • How do you handle poor weather such as heavy snow or rain?

Safety is our top priority—for you, your pets, and our team. If weather conditions are unsafe, such as heavy rain or thunderstorms, we will reschedule your service for the following day. If we are unable to access your yard then, we will return on your next scheduled service date. In cases of heavy snowfall that fully covers your yard, we will wait for conditions to improve or reschedule for your next regular service date.

  • How do you keep my pets safe?

Your pet’s safety is extremely important to us. We take multiple steps to protect your dogs and your property. We’ll send you a text with our estimated arrival time, take a photo of your securely locked gate after service (available upon request), and sanitize our equipment and boots after every yard to prevent cross-contamination and the transmission of viruses. Our team is trained to look for abnormalities in pet waste that may indicate health concerns, and we’ll notify you immediately if anything unusual is observed.

  • Are you insured?

Yes, we are fully insured. We carry general liability to protect our clients, our employees, and our business.

  • How much will it cost me?

Pricing varies and is affected by several factors such as frequency, number of dogs, and time since last pickup.

Our services start as inexpensive as $30 per week, which keeps your yard clean, and your lawn healthy.

  • How will I know when you arrive?

On your scheduled pickup day, you’ll receive a text message from our Field Technician with an estimated time of arrival. Our team arrives in clearly marked company vehicles and wears professional uniforms with our logo for easy identification.

  • How do recurring visits get billed?

We use Jobber to securely manage billing and process recurring payments. Jobber uses industry-standard security measures to help protect your payment information.

Recurring services are automatically billed on the 1st of every month, covering your scheduled cleanups for that month—so you can set it and forget it.

  • What happens if I need to skip a pickup day?

We understand that life happens! If you’ve already cleaned the yard, are out of town, or forgot to unlock your gate, just give us a call or email us at truescoopsanitation@gmail.com. We’re happy to reschedule your service whenever needed.

  • Can I mow over my dog's poop?

Mowing over dog poop is never advised. Doing so can spread harmful bacteria and parasites throughout your lawn, creating health risks for both pets and people. Dog waste is not a natural fertilizer—it’s acidic and can damage your grass. Mowing over it also contaminates mower blades and can send particles into the air, making cleanup more difficult and unsanitary.

For a cleaner, healthier yard, always remove pet waste before mowing. Regular cleanups help keep your lawn fresh, safe, and smelling clean.

  • Do you give my dog treats?

Due to many dogs having allergies, special diets, and sensitive stomachs, we do not provide treats for your pets.
